PARKING
Edinburgh city centre has over 6,000 parking places within easy walking distance of shops and other attractions.
If you’re visiting the West End, there’s an abundance of on-street places in Melville Street and additional parking in most nearby areas including Stafford, William and Walker Street, Coates and Atholl Crescent, and Drumsheugh Gardens.
You can park for up to three hours on-street from £1.20 to £2 an hour. Off-street car parks cost up to £1.50 per hour, depending on location. Please check the signs for parking restrictions and maximum stays in each area.

BY BUS
On some streets leading to the West End, there’s a bus at least every four or five minutes at certain times.
For out-of-towners, the Park & Ride sites are an ideal place to leave the car, with regular departures from Ingliston, Hermiston, Straiton and Sheriffhall to the city centre. Parking is free at these sites.
A single ticket costs £1.20, adult, or 70p, child. For all day travel on any of the Lothian services, a day ticket costs £3, adult, or £2.40, child.

BY TRAIN
